Hartford Guardians To Host Thanksgiving Dinner For Needy On Sunday
HARTFORD — The Hartford Guardians will host a free Thanksgiving turkey dinner for needy residents of Hartford at the Red Rock Tavern, 369 Capitol Ave.
The Guardians, a fraternal organization within the police department, say they are hosting the event "for those in need of a hot meal."
Dinner will be served from noon to 5 p.m. at the Red Rock.
In addition to the Hartford Guardians, donations to the meal have been provided by the Hartford police union, the Hispanic Officers Association, the Emerald Society, the Italian Officers Association, the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, the Greater Hartford Fraternal Order of Police, the Hartford Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union, the Greater Hartford Police Federal Credit Union, Restaurant Depot, Silas Deane Pawn, C-Town Market, Hot 93.7 FM and the Red Rock Tavern.
