FROG HOLLOW
The Capitol Avenue Creative Placemaking Project:
We are continuously working with our neighbors, to ensure our Capitol Ave and greater Frog Hollow neighborhood is a thriving, warm community. We work with one another to beautify our neighborhood with street and mural art, flower planters, public outdoor seating, traffic-calming measures and more.
CapFest:
CapFest is an annual, family-friendly neighborhood festival. Shop with local businesses popping up and enjoy free amenities such as live music, outdoor games, children’s activities, community services and more. HARTFORD
We firmly believe in physical exercise as a means to promote healthy habits, as well as building a strong sense of community. Aligned with our core value to promote physical exercise, we have various community partnerships with wellness and sports organizations:
Hartford Roses & Hartford Wanderers are adult Women and Men’s Rugby League teams that play in the New England Rugby Football Union (NERFU) League. The Roses and the Wanderers were founded in 1976 and 1966 respectively, as a means to establish quality athletic social clubs in the Hartford area. Red Rock Tavern has been sponsoring these awesome teams since 2010! We love our Roses and Wanderers and look forward to post-practice and game hangs with them and their families.
EIGHT SIX GO
Run or walk 1-2 miles with Eight Six Go on Tuesday evenings and enjoy a post-run complimentary dinner at Red Rock Tavern. With our partnership, we wanted to provide a space where those connections made upon a warm-up stretch, conversations sparked during your run, are extended and deepened over a quality meal.
